Pablo Pérez

“Pablo Pérez is a sincere artist who gives his life for painting. His art is the result of cubism, figuration and informalism, it is a symbiosis rich in nuances and contrasts. The perspective of his works, biased and cut, with a drawing with thick lines that separate and unite, used as a net, surrounding the human silhouettes that meet or isolate, together with an expanding plain color that floods the spaces, gives a compositional sense to capture characters and other topics. Pablo Pérez's interest in cultivating Venezuelan popular themes corresponds to the search for the most authentic, culturally pure, not corrupted by unhealthy academic influences. His painting is imbued with authenticity, an enthusiastic freshness. With great inventiveness he knows how to translate his poetic and humanitarian ideas into images of great plasticity, with great freedom of means, richness of composition, invention of color. The plastic language is subject to the expression of the poetry of the painting itself, its color and its form. Kneading feelings and values are sources of tolerance, goodness, fairness and wisdom, they adapt to nature, society and culture at all times and in your life. Consequently, Pablo Pérez, a plastic artist, with intelligence, innovation and imagination mixes and combines realities in order to achieve new objects, ideas, values and techniques to increase the quality of life and well-being of the society to which he belongs ”(Orlando Campos).
